Why Corduroy?

Corduroy is what locals call fresh groomed snow: the smooth lines on the mountain first thing in the morning, before anyone has touched it. It's the best feeling of a ski day. That's how your trip should feel, with every detail smoothed out before you get here.

Planning a ski trip is the hard part. So I do it.

  1. 1

    Tell me about your trip

Your budget and where you want to stay. It takes one minute.

  2. 2

    Get your options

Within 24 hours, you get my picks for where to stay and what the trip could look like.

  3. 3

    We talk it through

I call you to go over dates, your group and the details, then send your full plan with options and one total price.

  4. 4

    Show up and ski

I book everything and send your day-by-day itinerary. I'm a text away for the whole trip.

Everything, handled.

One local, one plan, every piece of your ski trip in Breckenridge, Keystone or Copper.

  • A dinner table set with plated meals and candles in a mountain home, snowy peaks outside the window

    Private chefs

A restaurant-quality dinner without leaving the house.

  • Skis, poles and ski boots lined up by a window in a mountain vacation home

    Ski and snowboard rentals

Fitted and delivered to your door. No rental shop lines.

  • Lodging

The right home, condo or slopeside resort for your group and budget.

  • Lift tickets and lessons

Ski school booked before it sells out, for every age and level.

  • Rides from Denver

A private driver from the airport to your door, and back.

  • Groceries

Your kitchen stocked before you arrive.

  • Childcare

Trusted local sitters so the grown-ups get a night out.

  • Activities

Snowmobiling, sleigh rides, tubing, spa days and more.

  • Dinner reservations

The spots locals actually go, booked for you.

Why plan with a local?

  1. Lodging included, from anyone.

I'm not a rental company, so I don't push my own properties. I find the best place for your trip.

  2. One plan, one price.

Every option shows the full cost: lodging, lessons, rentals, chef, rides and my fee. No surprises.

  3. Born and raised in Summit County.

I know which mountain fits your group, where locals eat and how to beat I-70 traffic.

  4. I'm with you the whole trip.

Text me anytime. Road closed? Chef cancelled? Powder day? I've got it.

What a Corduroy trip looks like

Sample: a family of four, five nights in Breckenridge over spring break

Main Street in Breckenridge at dusk with the ski runs and peaks behind
  1. Day 1

Your driver meets you at Denver International Airport. You arrive to a stocked fridge, and rentals are fitted right in your living room.

  2. Day 2

Kids start ski school. You ski on your own. A private chef cooks dinner at the house.

  3. Day 3

Ski in the morning, then an afternoon sleigh ride and dinner in town at a table I've booked.

  4. Day 4

Powder day. I text you which lift to hit first. A sitter comes that night so the grown-ups can go out.

  5. Day 5

Last laps, then tubing with the kids.

  6. Day 6

Rentals picked up from your door, and your driver gets you to the airport in time.

Born and raised in Summit County.

I've lived in Summit County my whole life. I learned to ski on these mountains, and I still know which run to hit first on a powder day. Over the years I watched visitors spend more time planning their trip than enjoying it.

So I started Corduroy Trips. You tell me what you want, and I use everything I know about this place to plan it right. I'll call you before you book, and I'm a text away the whole time you're here.

Questions

Straight answers about planning your ski trip with Corduroy.

How much does it cost?

Getting your trip options is free. If you book, there's a flat planning fee, and it's shown in your plan up front.

Do I need to have lodging booked already?

No. Most people come to me before they've picked a place, and finding it is part of the plan. Already booked? I'll plan everything else.

Which mountains do you cover?

Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin. Planning Vail or Beaver Creek? Ask me.

How far ahead should I plan?

Holidays and spring break fill up fast, so 2 to 3 months ahead is best. Shorter notice? Reach out anyway and I'll see what I can do.

How do I pay?

You pay each provider directly through their own secure booking link, so you never hand your card number to anyone. My planning fee is billed separately.

What if something goes wrong during my trip?

You'll have my cell for the whole trip. Late flight, road closure or a reservation that falls through, I'll sort it out.

Do you plan summer trips?

Yes. Summer here is just as good, with hiking, rafting, biking and paddling on Lake Dillon. Fill out the form and tell me what you're after.
